There is a ​           trend in the pharmaceutical industry for large multinationals to use pan-European suppliers. ​           has presented problems particularly for small and medium-sized companies ​           produce in just one country.

DD Holdings, based in Yorkshire, is teaming up ​           partners in France, Germany and Spain to form an alliance called Pharmapak. ​           the partners will continue to work ​           separate companies, they will share ​           of their sales and marketing resources. The deal ​           customers with the opportunity to negotiate Europe wide contracts.
DD is the ​           of the four companies, with 15 production facilities throughout Europe and            annual turnover of about￡120m.
