①  I was happy to grow up in a Mexican city with my parents and my younger brother. My mother was an opera singer, and my father was the owner of an oil company. We lived near the ocean. My brother and I would be outside all the time with the neighbors' kids, running free, playing football on the streets and at the beach. What better place could there be for a child?
②  My mother was devoted to helping people who had great voices but didn't have the money to study music. My parents offered dozens of music scholarships. ⑤  I love being a wife and homemaker. But being a mother is very tiring, and sometimes I make myself tired. I can understand how hard it is for women who have to do everything themselves all the time.
